Join our editorial board

Crime Lab Report is currently expanding its editorial board.  If you are interested in becoming an editor, please contact us. 

Editors are responsible for reviewing manuscripts prior to publication.  Crime Lab Report subjects manuscripts to approximately three editorial screenings per month, so the time commitment is not overly burdensome.  We ask our editors, however, to make a strong effort to conduct a thorough review each time a manuscript is distributed among the board.

A forensic science background is not necessary to become an editor; however, we try to select our editors from among criminal justice professionals who at least have some experience working with forensic scientists and demonstrate a sincere desire to support and improve the profession.
